I first would like to thank my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Without him blessing me and bestowing upon me such a gift I don't know where I would be. God has truly blessed me to be standing here and I will continue to bless his name and share my story with others.
AJ with producer Micah Wilshire Mom, I love you more than life itself. Thanks for being there when I needed someone to talk to and didn't think I was going to make it. I've already told you the first check I get from this album is going to you and dad because you guys have worked harder and have spent more on me than anything you deserve it. Hopefully you will finally be able to get that 7 Series BMW you have always wanted. I know you never wanted this for me because you want everybody to like me, but I believe God is the only one, you should care likes me. I'm not worried at all; if it's in His will they will like me, plus I'm so lovable who doesn't? (Just kidding.) Dad, thanks for supporting me and driving me and the whole family back and forth to L.A. Even though we complained you drove on the edge, you're still going to be head of security. I truly believe as mom says you are one of my biggest fans, you get more excited sometimes about things than I do. To Grandma Shirley: Thanks for keeping it real with me and looking out for me, and asking the questions we may have been scared to ask. I love you so much and thank you and all of your friends at the "Center" and Red Hatters for your continuous support. I know you have always said you never thought you would be around to see this but you are and I want you to live it up. To Auntie Stephanie: Thanks for the laughs and the straight talk when I was afraid to say certain things; I really appreciate it. I sometimes feel you understand how I feel on certain things and I love it. Uncle Dre' also, thanks for the straight talk and helping me to realize what my purpose was and that I could make it through any of my struggles. Nana thanks for your support when I went through different things; I love you so much. Thank you to the whole Buckner Family I love you all and appreciate your love and belief in me, I wont let you down. God Bless.
AJ with singer/actress Italia Ricci and engineer Mark Jean I would also like to thank Make a Wish Foundation. I honestly believe without all the loving people that work with the Southern Nevada Chapter, I would not be able to stand here and say thank you to all these people who you gave me the opportunity to meet. Whenever and Whatever You Need I will do without a problem. I have had the pleasure of becoming great friends with the Sickle Cell Disease Association of America, and even though we haven't had a chance to meet face to face I can say I feel the love they have for people who suffer from the terrible disease, I appreciate your support and I am always available for any help if you need me. To Sydel-Lisi: You saw something in me I didn't think anyone would ever notice and that was I was a star. I am truly thankful for meeting you. You are so dear to my heart because you are my second mom sometimes looking out for me in ways others won't. I never want to let you go. Steve Curliss, what can I say? I'm surprised you were able to help that kid in Vegas with all the help and work you did for me. When I needed a laugh or to loosen up when a get a tad bit nervous, you were right there. Thanks for having faith in me and seeing me as able to make it in this business. I know I'm fresh in it and still learning things about it and myself but things will work themselves out. BTW, you still haven't layed down your scratch vocals on the album; I'm still waiting. I remember when I first met Rob McLellan at the Cheesecake factory at Caesar's Palace and we talked about how I was expecting things to go and things have gotten better. I never knew I could meet someone who really cared for me as all the others do. I'm glad you came into my life and took the time to help me out in things I needed and told me that it's all about me.
Aj with producer Ron Harris It was a complete honor to meet Micah Wilshire and work with you. You allowed me to be free and sing how I wanted and I felt so comfortable with you I took my shoes off and let go. Thanks so much for bearing with me while I got the cracks out my voice and finally warmed up. To Rob Chiarelli, the minute I met you I knew you about making hits and getting music back to where it should, as in Marvin Gaye. I'll never forget our meeting when I free styled "Superstar" by Luther Vandross and Happy Birthday classic version and Stevie wonder version. Our studio sessions at The Palms were simply amazing. I honestly hope I did "Save Me " justice because I wanted to put my all into that song. You always would ask "AJ, how am I doing" and I would say "Good." I guess I can say it now "You're doing amazing Rob amazing!!" Mr. Ron Harris I have to admit before I met you I was so scared to because I heard so much about you, I felt intimidated because I didn't think you liked me but after warming up to you and learning a lot from you I truly am blessed to have met you, Grandma already said next time she makes Gumbo she will freeze you some and bring it over. To Lee Rugless, I'm glad God put you into my life to continue to tell me how good God is, because trust me I know He's been good to me.

I tried my very best. To everyone at the Palms, it's funny how when I began with Make A Wish, I wanted to be at the Palms and stay there, and after all of this, I have stayed there, worked there, signed the celebrity wall there. I thank you so much for lending your services to me and making me feel so welcome. The Palms is definitely my home away from home here in Las Vegas. To my vocal coach Billie Cole (Deblanc Music) I know I haven't been in for a while but I still practice and work on everything you have taught me. I am not singing through my nose anymore. To my Church family, Greater Carver Missionary Baptist Church: I love you guys; you are where it began for me. To my many friends from school to church to all over if I went into thank you's for you I would be here all day so thank you all and for your support and concern; you all know I got your back. I have been blessed to work with some of the greatest people in the world. I love you all because you all believe in me when I sometimes don't see it in myself. Your support keeps me going. Making this album has been amazing. I have been through a lot from being sick and having to sing though the pain to my many travels from Houston to L.A. I have never met and come across so many wonderful people in my life. I am extremely grateful to everyone for believing in me. There are so many other people I would like to thank but words can't describe the love and thanks I have to you for everything. I put my all into making this album because I want people to see that I am a strong person who can take everything as a challenge and succeed.
