Who would ever have known that I would be singing for another president just one month later. My dad and I were in the car on our way somewhere when he said “I wouldn’t be surprised if since you sang for Senator Harry Reid they ask you to sing for the president when he comes to town soon enough” and less than two weeks later I was asked to sing for President Barack Obama. People asked if I was nervous or anything and I said “No, not at all.” That’s one weird fact about me… I am never nervous when singing for crowds or anything; I become nervous after I have performed and the applause is all over. President Obama was really cool, he is really a down to earth person. He talked to me like I was just one of the guys, which really made me feel comfortable. This was truly a day I will remember forever.
