Hey Everyone,
Only a few more days till my “A” day. So many things have been happening. Like we added a new song to the album. The song is called “I’ll Be There” and it’s an amazing upbeat song that sounds so good. I recorded at Studio at the Palms again with some amazing engineers and, via Skype, with my producer, Micah Wilshire who also produced Daylight, Shine and Jump. I had so much fun being in the studio again, I honestly felt so at home.
In celebration of the 2010 MTV Movie Awards Benefit to Battle Cancer, I had the wonderful privilege of singing two songs from my CD at the luncheon. I sang “Jump” and “Shine” (which was the favorite of everybody). They had great gifts and were wonderful people to be around. And I met a lot of great people. Tito Jackson spoke with me privately and gave me some great words of advice about life and I will always remember our conversation. They asked me to come back on stage later to sing again which was quite the honor. I hope to go back next year but as someone whose music is in a film up for an award. Hey, a kid has the right to dream.
