A.J. appears with Elton John, and duets with Jennifer Hudson....
On Saturday, October 9 the stars aligned over Las Vegas when some of the music industry's biggest names, and our own AJ Green, come together for the Grand Slam for Children at Wynn Las Vegas. The headliner was Elton John and other acts included Bill Cosby, the Canadian Tenors, Jason Mraz and Rob Thomas. The musical director was the infamous David Foster and AJ got to perform at the beginning of the event and came back for two songs: one of which was a showstopping duet with Jennifer Hudson. Since 1995 the Grand Slam has raised over $85 million to benefit such projects as AJ's high school, the Andre Agassi College Preparatory Academy. It also won A.J. the chance to sing for President Obama at another rally two weeks later.
However, after hearing about his whirlwind last two years, momentarily forgetting about singing the National Anthem for two Presidents is understandable. ...Read the full article.

This opportunity came after someone from Senator Reid's office saw AJ sing for an event with Bill Clinton at AJ's high school alma mater, Andre Agassi Prep, less than a month before. Singing for two presidents in a month, what a way to kick off the summer. AJ even made the news!
